🧠 Data Modeling & Analysis first, then Data ScienceEver wondered how our brains forge links? The intricate web of synapses, formed from experience and learning, resembles the journeys of data modeling, analysis and science. Sifting through vast volumes of unstructured data might seem overwhelming. Yet, much like the synapses in our brains, the relationships between data elements accumulate over time. Then, in a flash, there's that electrifying 'aha' moment where business insights bursts forth, and value is generated. While ML and AI bring robust tools for brute-forcing answers, they're not the silver bullet some might believe. For instance, when a new product or sales process is developed, you may have lot's of market data, but without feedback data, prediction models won't help, and the way to build the first synapses is the good and old data modeling and analysis processes.Much like this, consider the development of a child's brain. In the early stages of life, the brain is at full potential, while forming its initial synapses. However, it's through the directed guidance and stimuli provided by their parents and environment that the first connections take shape, setting the stage for the robust feedback process that unfolds in subsequent phases. In summation, while data science is a formidable ally, the elegance and depth of traditional data modeling and analysis shouldn't be overshadowed. Recognizing when to harness each method is the true mark of data expertise.#dataanalytics #datascience #datamodeling
